Day by day

  1. Day 1 Tirupati

Arrive, Padmavathi Ammavari temple, Kapila Theertham.

Arrive at Tirupati airport at Renigunta or Tirupati railway station, where our driver meets you and takes you to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple at Tiruchanur, dedicated to the consort of Lord Venkateswara. Tradition says pilgrims should visit her before or after Tirumala. Then see Kapila Theertham, a Shiva temple with a waterfall at the foot of the Tirumala hills. Our team briefs you on tomorrow's darshan rules and timing. Keep your ID ready, as it is needed for darshan entry. Overnight in Tirupati.

  2. Day 2 Tirumala

    Darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

An early start for Tirumala, about 22 km up the ghat road through seven hills. Darshan of Lord Venkateswara at the Srivari temple is the heart of this journey. Special Entry Darshan tickets must be booked in advance on the official TTD website, and we help with the booking. Traditional dress is required, and mobile phones are not allowed inside. After darshan, receive the famous Tirupati laddu prasadam, then visit Akasaganga and Papavinasanam. Return to Tirupati. Allow most of the day, as waiting times vary with crowds. Overnight in Tirupati.

  3. Day 3 Srikalahasti

    Srikalahasti and Kanipakam temples.

After breakfast, drive about 36 km to Srikalahasti, the temple of Vayu among the five elemental Shiva shrines, famous for the Rahu-Ketu puja, which can be booked at the temple. Continue to Kanipakam, about 70 km away, to the temple of Swayambhu Varasiddhi Vinayaka, said to be growing in size, standing in the middle of a spring. Return to Tirupati in the evening and visit the Govindaraja Swamy temple in town if time allows. Dress modestly and carry some cash for temple offerings. Overnight in Tirupati.

  4. Day 4 Tirupati

    Departure.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel. If time allows, visit the ISKCON temple or the Sri Venkateswara Museum, or shop for Kalamkari fabrics and wooden toys. Pack your laddu prasadam carefully for the journey. Our driver drops you at Tirupati airport or railway station for your onward journey. Please allow time for traffic on the airport road. Tell us early if you want to extend your stay for Chennai or Kanchipuram. Your pilgrimage to Tirupati ends here, with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara, Goddess Padmavathi and the sacred temples of the region.
