Cancellation policy
We know plans change. This policy explains what happens if you need to cancel. If your written confirmation shows different terms for a specific trip, those terms apply.
How to cancel
- Send your cancellation in writing to ops5@rgdgrandtours.com or on WhatsApp from the number used to book.
- The cancellation date is the day we receive your written request during office hours (9 am to 9 pm, all days).
Domestic holidays (India)
| Days before departure | Cancellation charge |
|---|---|
| 30 days or more | 10% of the tour cost |
| 15 to 29 days | 25% of the tour cost |
| 7 to 14 days | 50% of the tour cost |
| Less than 7 days, or no-show | 100% of the tour cost |
International holidays
| Days before departure | Cancellation charge |
|---|---|
| 45 days or more | 15% of the tour cost |
| 30 to 44 days | 30% of the tour cost |
| 15 to 29 days | 50% of the tour cost |
| Less than 15 days, or no-show | 100% of the tour cost |
Always non-refundable, whatever the date
- Flight tickets once issued, as per the airline's fare rules (we pass on any refund the airline gives)
- Visa fees, VFS or service charges, and travel insurance premiums
- Cruises, trains, permits, special event tickets and non-refundable hotel rates, as per supplier terms
- Peak-date bookings (Christmas, New Year, festivals) where suppliers apply stricter rules, which we show in your quote
Group departures and pilgrimages
Fixed-date group tours, including yatras by bus, block seats and rooms in advance. Their cancellation terms are shown in your confirmation and are usually stricter than the tables above.
Changing instead of cancelling
Often you can move your trip to new dates instead of cancelling. Supplier charges and any price difference apply, but this usually costs far less than a cancellation. Ask us first.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel a trip for reasons within our control, we will offer an alternative trip or a full refund of the amount you paid us. For cancellations caused by events beyond anyone's control, such as natural events, government orders or airline cancellations, we refund everything we recover from suppliers.
Refund timelines are explained in our refund policy.
