  2. 2 Mahé 3 nights

Day by day

  1. Day 1 Praslin

    Arrive Mahé, ferry to Praslin.

Welcome to the Seychelles. Indian passport holders can visit without a visa, but must apply online for a travel authorisation before flying. Our representative meets you at Mahé airport and transfers you to the ferry port for the catamaran to Praslin, about one hour. Check in to your hotel on Praslin, the second-largest island, and spend the rest of the day on the beach. The water is clear and calm, perfect for an evening swim. Ferries can be choppy, so carry seasickness tablets. Overnight in Praslin.

  2. Day 2 Praslin

Boat and bike day on La Digue.

Take a short ferry, about 15 minutes, to La Digue, a small island where bicycles and ox carts are the main way to get around. Cycle through the village to L'Union Estate, with its old coconut plantation and giant tortoises, and on to Anse Source d'Argent, one of the most photographed beaches in the world, with huge granite boulders and shallow turquoise water. The estate charges a small entry fee. Return to Praslin in the afternoon. Cycling here is flat and easy. Overnight in Praslin.

  3. Day 3 Praslin

Vallée de Mai and Anse Lazio.

Visit the Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO-listed palm forest that is home to the coco de mer, which produces the largest seed in the world. Walk the shaded trails and listen for the rare black parrot. Then spend the afternoon at Anse Lazio, often rated among the best beaches on earth, with soft sand and calm water for swimming and snorkelling. Carry water, sunscreen and a snorkel mask. Enjoy a seafood dinner by the beach. The forest has an entry fee, included in your tour. Overnight in Praslin.

  4. Day 4 Mahé

Ferry back to Mahé, free time.

After a relaxed breakfast, take the ferry back to Mahé, the main island, about one hour. Our team meets you at the port for the transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure on Beau Vallon beach, Mahé's most popular bay, where you can swim, try water sports at extra cost, or walk along the sand at sunset. On Wednesday evenings there is often a lively beach market with local food. Ferry timings depend on the weather and the operator. Overnight in Mahé.

  5. Day 5 Mahé

St Anne Marine Park glass-bottom boat.

Today, explore Sainte Anne Marine Park, a protected group of islands just off Mahé. Board a glass-bottom boat to see coral, tropical fish and sea turtles without getting wet, then stop for snorkelling in the clear water. Enjoy a barbecue lunch on one of the islands, with grilled fish, chicken and Creole salads. Return to Mahé in the afternoon and relax at your hotel. Use reef-safe sunscreen to protect the coral. Children love spotting the fish through the glass floor of the boat. Overnight in Mahé.

  6. Day 6 Mahé

    Mahé island and Victoria.

Explore Mahé at your own pace. Visit Victoria, one of the smallest capitals in the world, with its silver clock tower, the colourful Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke Market and the Arul Mihu Navasakthi Vinayagar Hindu temple. Drive the Sans Souci road through the mountains to the Mission Ruins viewpoint, or hire a car and explore the island's quiet southern beaches. In the evening, enjoy a Creole dinner with fish curry and breadfruit. Driving is on the left, and the mountain roads are narrow and steep. Overnight in Mahé.

  7. Day 7 Mahé

    Departure.

Enjoy a final breakfast and a last swim before checking out. Our representative transfers you to Seychelles International Airport for your flight home. Please reach three hours before departure. Pick up local vanilla, cinnamon, Takamaka rum or a coco de mer souvenir with an official export permit, as these seeds are protected. Keep the export permit receipt with you for customs checks. Your Seychelles island holiday ends here, with memories of granite beaches, giant tortoises and some of the clearest water in the world.
