1. Day 1 Phuket

   Arrive, free day.

   Welcome to Thailand. Indian travellers can get a visa on arrival, and must fill in the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before landing. Our driver meets you at Phuket airport for a private transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure on the beach. In the evening, explore Patong's lively Bangla Road, or visit a night market for Thai street food, fruit shakes and souvenirs. Phuket is warm all year, so carry light cotton clothes, sunscreen and a hat. Overnight in Phuket.

2. Day 2 Phuket

   Phi Phi Islands by big boat.

   Board a big boat for a full-day tour to the Phi Phi Islands, about one and a half hours across the Andaman Sea. See Maya Bay, made famous by the film The Beach, where swimming is no longer allowed to protect the reef, and Pileh Lagoon with its green water between limestone cliffs. Snorkel among colourful fish, and enjoy lunch on the beach at Phi Phi Don. Return to Phuket in the evening. Carry a towel and a dry bag for your phone. Overnight in Phuket.

3. Day 3 Pattaya

   Fly to Bangkok, drive to Pattaya.

   After breakfast, transfer to Phuket airport for a flight to Bangkok, then continue by road to Pattaya, about two hours, with private transfers throughout. Pattaya is a lively seaside resort on the Gulf of Thailand. Check in to your hotel. In the evening, watch the Alcazar or Tiffany's cabaret show at extra cost, or walk along the beach road and Walking Street. The Bangkok to Pattaya road passes through busy towns, so the timing depends on traffic. Rest well for tomorrow's island trip. Overnight in Pattaya.

4. Day 4 Pattaya

   Coral Island with lunch.

   Take a speedboat to Coral Island, called Koh Larn, about 30 minutes from Pattaya. Enjoy parasailing over the sea, snorkelling and time on the beach. An Indian lunch is served during the tour. Return to Pattaya in the afternoon and relax. In the evening, visit the Pattaya floating market or the Sanctuary of Truth, an enormous wooden temple by the sea, at extra cost. Carry sunscreen, a towel and a change of clothes, and keep your phone in a dry bag during the speedboat ride. Overnight in Pattaya.

5. Day 5 Bangkok

   To Bangkok, temple tour.

   Drive from Pattaya to Bangkok, about two hours. On the way into the city, enjoy a guided tour of Wat Traimit, home to a solid gold Buddha weighing over five tonnes, and Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple. Check in to your hotel in Bangkok. In the evening, visit Asiatique riverside night market or take a Chao Phraya river cruise at extra cost. Dress modestly for the temples, covering shoulders and knees, and remove shoes before entering the prayer halls. Overnight in Bangkok.

6. Day 6 Bangkok

   Free day for shopping.

   A free day in Bangkok for shopping and exploring. Visit MBK, Platinum Mall and the Pratunam market for clothes and electronics, or Siam Paragon and ICONSIAM for luxury brands. Optional tours include the Grand Palace, Safari World or a floating market. Enjoy a Thai massage in the afternoon and street food in the evening. Bargaining is expected at markets but not in malls, and the BTS Skytrain is the quickest way to move between shopping areas. Carry a light bag for your purchases. Overnight in Bangkok.

7. Day 7 Bangkok

   Departure.

   After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Depending on your flight time, enjoy some last shopping for Thai silk, spices or snacks. Our driver transfers you to Suvarnabhumi airport for your flight home. Please reach three hours before departure and claim VAT refunds on eligible purchases before check-in. Pack Thai snacks and silk carefully in your checked luggage, and keep your visa on arrival receipt and passport handy. Your Thailand holiday ends here, with memories of golden temples, limestone cliffs and island sunsets.
