Goa Week: Beaches & Nightlife

A full week at a 4-star beach resort, with sightseeing, Dudhsagar and two free days for the beaches and clubs.

1. 1 Goa 6 nights

1. Day 1 Goa

   Arrive, check in.

   Welcome to Goa. Our driver meets you at the airport and takes you to your 4-star beach resort. Check in and settle into a full week by the sea. In the evening, walk along the beach to watch the sunset, then head out to one of the many beach shacks for fresh seafood and live music. Goa's nightlife starts late, so take the first evening easy. Keep a copy of your ID with you, as clubs and bars may ask for it. Overnight in Goa.

2. Day 2 North Goa

   Forts, beaches and nightlife spots.

   After breakfast, explore North Goa, the heart of its beach and nightlife scene. Visit Fort Aguada and Chapora Fort, then spend time at Calangute, Baga, Anjuna and Vagator beaches. Water sports such as parasailing and jet ski are available at extra cost. In the evening, see Baga's famous Tito's Lane, with clubs and bars, or the weekend night markets at Arpora when open. Use registered taxis or app cabs at night. Clubs and beach parties are busiest from December to early January, so book popular spots ahead. Overnight in Goa.

3. Day 3 South Goa

   Temples, Old Goa and quiet beaches.

   After breakfast, explore South Goa. Visit Old Goa's UNESCO-listed churches, the Basilica of Bom Jesus and Se Cathedral, and the Mangueshi temple. Walk through the colourful Latin quarter of Fontainhas in Panaji. Then relax on South Goa's quieter beaches, such as Palolem or Colva. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Mandovi river with music and dance, at extra cost, or a casino cruise for adults. Shoulders and knees should be covered at the churches and temples, so carry a scarf or a light shirt. Overnight in Goa.

4. Day 4 Dudhsagar

   Jeep safari to the falls.

   A day trip to Dudhsagar Falls, one of India's tallest waterfalls, on the Goa and Karnataka border. Drive to Collem, then take a jeep through the forest of Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary to the foot of the falls, which plunge about 310 metres. The jeep safari usually runs from October to May. Stop at a spice plantation for a tour and a Goan lunch at extra cost. Return to your resort by evening and rest for the nights ahead. Overnight in Goa.

5. Day 5 Goa

   Free day.

   A free day to enjoy Goa your way. Sleep in, relax by the pool or book a spa treatment. In the afternoon, try kayaking in the backwaters, a dolphin-spotting boat trip, or a scuba diving session at Grand Island, at extra cost. As the sun sets, head to a beach club in Vagator or Anjuna for music and dancing. Our team is on WhatsApp to help you book activities and tables. 6. Day 6 Goa

   Free day.

   Another free day at leisure. Explore the cafes and boutiques of Assagao and Siolim, visit the Saturday Night Market when it runs, or take a scooter ride along the coast with a licence and helmet. Enjoy a long lunch at a riverside restaurant. In the evening, try one of Goa's famous restaurants, from Goan Portuguese to fine dining, before a final night out. Drink responsibly and never drive after drinking. Two-wheelers can be hired locally, but always wear a helmet and carry your licence. Overnight in Goa.

7. Day 7 Goa

   Departure.

   After breakfast, check out of your resort. Pick up cashews, feni and bebinca as gifts from the local shops. Our driver transfers you to Dabolim or Mopa airport for your flight home. Please check your airport in advance, as they are about one and a half hours apart, and allow time for traffic. Dabolim is in the south and Mopa in the north, so we time the transfer around your flight. Your week in Goa ends here, with memories of sunsets, music and long days on the beach.
