1. Day 1 Goa

   Arrive, beach time.

   Arrive at Goa's Dabolim or Mopa airport, or the railway station, where our team meets you and transfers you to your 4-star beach resort. Complete check-in and relax after your journey. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps walking to the nearest beach, trying fresh seafood or Goan fish curry at a beach shack, or simply relaxing by the pool. Swim only where lifeguards are present, as currents can be strong. Dinner at the resort. Overnight in Goa.

2. Day 2 North Goa

   Fort Aguada, Calangute, Baga, Anjuna.

   After breakfast, set out on a full-day tour of North Goa by shared AC coach. Visit Fort Aguada, a seventeenth-century Portuguese fort with a lighthouse overlooking the Arabian Sea. Continue to Coco Beach, then spend time at the lively beaches of Calangute, Baga and Anjuna, with water sports available at extra cost. Shop for beachwear and souvenirs at the stalls. Return to your resort in the evening for dinner. Carry sunscreen, hats and water for the children, as the afternoon sun can be strong on the beaches. Overnight in Goa.

3. Day 3 South Goa

   Temples, Old Goa churches, Miramar.

   Today, explore South Goa and its heritage. Visit the Shri Shantadurga temple at Kavlem and the Shri Manguesh temple at Priol, two beautiful Hindu temples with lamp towers. Then explore Old Goa's UNESCO-listed churches, including the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which holds the remains of St Francis Xavier, and the grand Se Cathedral. End the day at Dona Paula Bay and Miramar Beach for sunset. Dinner at the resort. Shoulders and knees should be covered at the temples and churches, so carry a light scarf. Overnight in Goa.

4. Day 4 Goa

   Departure.

   After breakfast, check out of your resort. If time allows, pick up cashew nuts, kokum, feni or Goan bebinca sweets as gifts from the local markets. Our driver transfers you to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Please check whether your flight leaves from Dabolim or Mopa airport, as they are about one and a half hours apart. Please keep your tickets and ID handy for the airport. Your family beach holiday in Goa ends here, with memories of beaches, churches and sunsets.
